Events

To enable more congregations to support their pastoral leadership through the Benefits Plan of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), we have engaged the Church in face-to-face and virtual events.

We are meeting with leaders throughout the Church about how the new Benefits Plan will provide flexibility and choice.

A Season of Rebuilding — A New Benefits Plan for the Changing Church

April 23-24, 2024
Denver, Colorado

April 30-May 1, 2024
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

At these events, staff leaders and Committee on Ministry leaders (or equivalent) of presbyteries will:

  • hear from Board of Pensions leadership about the redesigned Benefits Plan
  • learn how the new plan provides flexibility and choice for congregations and their pastoral leaders
  • engage with others in the Church for discussions about how these changes will improve parity among congregational pastoral leaders

These events follow up on meetings held in 2023 in which leaders gathered to discuss the future of the Benefits Plan. Those in attendance can serve as a resource for others in the Church.
