To enable more congregations to support their pastoral leadership through the Benefits Plan of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), we have engaged the Church in face-to-face and virtual events.

We are meeting with leaders throughout the Church about how the 2025 Benefits Plan will provide flexibility and choice.

Webinar: Tips for Determining the Right Healthcare Coverage for You and Your Family

Thursday, Aug. 8, 2-3:30 p.m. ET

Are you considering your medical coverage options for 2025? Join us Aug. 8 for information about coverage options that may be available for you and your family. You’ll learn about ACA health insurance established exchanges, Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP qualifications, and alternative sources of coverage.

Neil Goldfarb, President and CEO of the Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health, will discuss the variety of coverages available, and the Board’s Sharon Castillo, Director, Plan Administration, Interpretation, and Regulatory Matters, and Keenan Rodgers, Church Consultant, will participate in a Q&A session.

2025 Benefits Plan e-learning courses

You can find helpful information about the 2025 Benefits Plan in these e-learning courses from the Board of Pensions:  

  • Serving More, Serving Better (2025), a benefits literacy course that introduces plans, programs, and benefits packages for 2025
  • an upcoming course from the Board of Pensions designed to equip pastors and congregations to have faithful conversations and make decisions pertaining to benefits and other aspects of compensation  

One-on-one meetings with Church Consultants

Ongoing and by appointment

Pastoral leaders and employers — including business administrators, chairs of Personnel Committees, Committees on Ministry, sessions, presbyteries, and mid councils — can meet with their region’s Church Consultant for personalized service.

Church Consultants provide assistance with:

  • facilitation of faithful decision-making based on conversations between congregations, presbyteries, and ministers
  • education about dues packages and benefits to meet the unique needs of each minister and congregation
  • guidance on benefits administration
